Does the world need another 3/8-in. ratchet? Sure it does, if the new one does things that existing 3/8-in. ratchets don't.

The Dual 80 flex-head ratchet looks like a lot of others, but when you try it, you realize it has an extremely fine-tooth gear-in fact, 80 teeth on a surprisingly compact head (just 13/16 in. wide, 1/2 in. deep). The 80 teeth, a new benchmark in its class, mean it has a smaller ratcheting arc than any other ratchet around. So in combination with the compact head, it works well in extremely tight quarters. The ratchet pawls are very strong, transferring up to 250 ft.-lbs. of torque, and each pawl maintains contact with seven ratchet teeth for a good feeling of control. The head is sealed to keep out contamination.
